What is Resilience?

According to the American Psychological Association's definition, resilience is both the "process" and "result" of coping well in the face of adversity (APA). Having the mental, emotional, and behavioral agility to shift gears in response to changes in one's environment and one's own needs is what we mean by adaptability. Having the ability to bounce back from adversity is a skill that can be developed and honed over time. To become more resilient, you need time, energy, and help from the people around you. You will also face challenges as you move forward. Internal and environmental factors such as one's own attitudes and abilities (such as confidence and fluency in expression) as well as social support and resources available to you are all involved. Practice Emotional Mastery is here to help you become more resilient and control your emotions.
